Advanced Email Security is AI driven protection for email inboxes. Capabilities such as Behavioral Anomaly
Detection, Pre-emptive Protection, Autonomous Actions help keep inboxes clear of dangerous phishing
emails.
Email based attacks are the most common start point for network security incidents ("cyber attacks").
Improving security at them email inbox level before the messages are delivered is the best way to defend
against these threats.
Cybersecurity is a priority; however, other funding requests took precedence in this tight funding year. City
staff are continuing to improve on cybersecurity efforts with training; and will continue to evaluate this and
similar platforms for future funding.
