This request provides funding for consultants engaged to support grant-funded capital and infrastructure
projects and plans. The service covers the grant writing, application, reporting, and application directly tied to
anticipated grant opportunities.
The City tries to purse state and federal funding for capital projects including transportation, stormwater,
water/wastewater and any public infrastructure. Securing and administrating these grants requires some
research and specialized knowledge that exceeds current staff capacity. Retaining these consultants on an as-
needed basis allows us to be available to submit the application as soon as we can.
