The Public Works Streets Division is requesting supplemental funding for a sand spreader and snowplow
combo that inserts into an existing fleet vehicle.

This equipment request is associated to winter weather emergency response, which allows crews to treat
accumulation on the roadways and to maintain safe driving conditions on thoroughfares. The total pricing for
this equipment is $26,500.00, including purchase and upfitting costs. This purchase improves the department's
response and efficiency to inclement weather.
