1.2.6 Electronic Dashboards for Police
Summary:
This project will identify and acquire a solution that will
ingest/analyze data from the sources listed above and
others to provide dashboards and reporting tools to APD.
This solution will
Connect to multiple active data sources
Monitor data sources and provide alerts
End‐user friendly allowing simple configuration of
dashboards, and
Allow for separation of APD data from City data.
APD is a client of Tyler Technologies unitizing their Records
Management System. During the pandemic, Tyler offered
one of their projects, Socrata, to cities and agencies free for
dashboarding and tracking of COVID‐19 issues (Tyler
acquired Socrata – a data analytics and storage system in
2018). APD is in the process of implementing Socrata for use
in their COVID‐19 reports and dashboards.
