The Behavioral Health Law Enforcement Unit (BHLEU)
is finishing a very productive quarter and year at the Police Notification of Emergency
Training Center and is incredibly thankful for all the Dentention
support provided by the Training Center staff. With
the interruptions to the training calendar caused by 400
COVID‐19, the Arlington Police Department was
tasked with ensuring all officers attend the Crisis 300
Intervention Training. The BHLEU was able to attain
200
that mandate and finished this quarter with one CIT
class for incumbent officers and one for recruit class
#60. The Arlington Police Department is fortunate to 100
have community stakeholders and partners who
‐
substantially contribute to our trainings.
