The new Downtown Master Plan was adopted on Completion Complete
November 27, 2018. The implementation plan identifies Set up a Downtown TBD
action items geared towards the execution of the newly Advisory Committee
adopted plan. A number of these items require Set up a meeting with TBD
amendments to the Unified Development Code (UDC). The Downtown Advisory
UDC was most recently updated in July of 2018 for Gas Committee
Well standards. Meet with Developer’s TBD

Currently, Short‐term rentals (STRs) are not an allowed use Completion Complete
in the UDC. However, industry data indicates there may be City Council Work Session 2/5/2019 1/29/2019
200‐400 operating STRs in the City of Arlington. Council to make a final
directed staff to develop a regulatory framework and determination on the
implementation plan for adoption. This is a continuation of process
