NORTH PARK ARTIFICIAL TURF COMPLETION
1 Complete artificial turf, parking expansion and ADA improvements within the approved

Capital Budget at North Park by March 1, 2027, in time for all North Park user groups to start
their spring seasons on schedule.

CISD JOINT USE AGREEMENT UPDATE
2 Collaborate with CISD to update and renew the City’s Joint Use Agreement in alignment with

City Department Overview
the City’s Policy for Provision of Athletic Facilities, Cost Recovery Policy, and current and
future use needs for both entities by March 16, 2027.

PARKS CAPITAL ASSET PLAN DEVELOPMENT
3 Establish Parks Capital Asset Replacement Plan to define future operational maintenance and

replacement needs for all parks capital assets in SPDC, General Fund, and TIRZ by March 31,
2027.

COMMUNITY PARKS LANDSCAPE ENHANCEMENTS
4 Update landscaping in Bicentennial, North, and Bob Jones Parks focusing on medians,
landscape beds, and areas requiring sod replacement to the City’s new standard by
September 30, 2027.

PARKS, RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE COMPREHENSIVE
5 PLAN UPDATE

Assist the Economic Development and Tourism and Planning Departments in the creation and
adoption of an updated Parks, Recreation and Open Space Comprehensive Plan prior to the
end of Q3 with Council-Approved service standards and a prioritized multi-year capital and
maintenance framework.
