The City of Arlington has experienced a reduction in Crime Rate Reduction Project:

more detailed information for each single crime
occurrence rather than the traditional Summary Crime Rate Reduction Project:
Uniform Crime Report (UCR), which is based on a Crimes Against Property*
hierarchy summary reporting system. NIBRS data
identifies with precision when and where a crime takes 5,000
place, what type of crime occurred, and the 4,000
characteristics of its victims and perpetrators. While the 3,000

UCR data will be used for historical and overall
benchmarking of crime statistics, NIBRS data will 1,000

provide us with more defined, granular detail of the
