CITY OF BEDFORD - FY 19-20 MAINTENANCE SUMMARY

PROJECT: Flooring Replacement in Fleet Shop Offices
DEPARTMENT:Public Works DIVISION: Engineering Services

MAINTENANCE NEED: PROJECT COST: $ 8,000
The flooring in the fleet shop offices is very worn and in need of
FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund
replacement. This would include the mechanics' office, parts room,
break room and the Fleet Supervisor's office. The tile in the parts room, LOCATION: Public Works Service Center
break room and the carpet in the Fleet Supervisors office were installed
when the building was constructed in 1990. There are lifting or missing
vinyl tiles in the mechanics' office and break room. Some areas of the
carpet in the Supervisor's office are worn through.

PROJECT: Library Teen Room Carpet Replacement

MAINTENANCE NEED: PROJECT COST: $ 11,000
The carpet in the Teen Room is fraying and worn due to high traffic in FUNDING SOURCE: Library Maintenance Fund
the room. The lighter portions of the carpet have stains that cannot be
removed. Since 2011, the Library has had 1.5 million visitors. LOCATION: Library

PROJECT: Library Red & Light Green Carpet Replacement

DEPARTMENT:Community Services DIVISION: Library
MAINTENANCE NEED: PROJECT COST: $ 13,500
The red carpet located between the Information Desk and Teen Room is FUNDING SOURCE: Library Maintenance Fund
stained due to high traffic. The light green carpet located by the new
adult fiction and children books is also stained due to high traffic. Since LOCATION: Library
2011, the Library has had 1.5 million visitors.
