This request is to purchase an upright bunker gear dryer

Project Justification
Wew currently do not have a means to dry bunker gear other than to let it hang dry in the truck bay after washing.
This unit will dry up to six sets of gear in only two hours. This would allow personnel to dry gear quickly and return it
to service. New cleaning mandates from the state require washing gear after every use at a fire and twice annually
third party cleaning and inspection. This machine is commercial grade and would handle the rigorous use. Without
this machine, we will continue to dry gear by hanging it in the truck bay where drying can take up to two days.

Operating Impact
Returns front line gear to service very quickly. Limits use of back up gear. Eliminates gear drying in the truck bays
