Library Roof Replacement

During construction in 2010, the Library received a new white roof with the help of a $201,000 Department of
Energy grant. The roof has a 20-year warranty. The average lifespan of a roof is 20-25 years.

Replacing the roof will decrease operating costs for building maintenance. Additionally, as the roof ages, it will
develop leaks that will be damaging to the books, equipment, and furniture within the Library.

A funding source has not been identified for this project; therefore, it is included as "unfunded" in the Capital
Improvement Plan.
