Summary:
The Arlington Economic Development Corporation (EDC)
aims to enhance business attraction and expansion through
a coordinated lead strategy involving both inbound and
outbound efforts.

Inbound Leads:
• Requests for Information (RFI): Improve
coordination with the Economic Development
Services (EDS) and the Governor’s Office to
provide input on incentives and support potential
projects
• Broker/Dallas Regional Chamber (DRC) Leads:
Work closely with EDS on leads from brokers and
the Dallas Regional Chamber, aligning responses
and offers

Outbound Leads:
• Existing Businesses: Conduct outreach to assess
expansion opportunities and identify partners who
may also consider relocating or growing in
Arlington
• External Businesses: Proactively engage
businesses in targeted industries outside Arlington
to promote relocation or expansion

Next Steps:
• Build infrastructure and processes to support
implementation
• Strengthen collaboration with EDS on all inbound
leads
• Schedule meetings with current businesses for
growth discussions
• Identify and engage external companies aligned
with Arlington’s strategic industry focus
