Summary:

As the City of Arlington continues to educate residents to Residential Curbside Recycling Tons Collected
Recycle Right, we expect to see an increase in recycling 2,500
participation, a reduction in contamination and an
increase in the overall quality of residential recycling 2,000
materials. Staff continues to actively participate with the
North Central Texas Council of Governments, and along- 1,500
side other regional stakeholders in a Regional Recycling
Campaign, to decrease contamination of curbside 1,000
residential recycling and to present a unified recycling
message throughout the region. 500

In the 3 Quarter, Republic Services collected 3,847 tons
of recyclables from Arlington residents, compared to
5,747 tons the same quarter last year.
