                                                                         Crime Rate Reduction Project:
             The City of Arlington has experienced a reduction in           Crimes Against Person*
             crime for the past nine years.  Sustaining this reduction
             continues to be at the forefront of the mission for the    2,500
             Police Department.  Geographic accountability,    2,000

             Since January 2017, the Police Department has reported

             Reporting System (NIBRS), which provides detailed

             Crimes Against Society by 1%. Within these categories,
             Vehicle Thefts increased by 15%, Vehicle Burglaries
             decreased by 4% and Robberies remained unchanged.
