2.1.5 Narrative Update
Summary:

The current Airport Master plan was adopted by City Council in 2015. Since that adoption operations and interest in the
Airport have significantly increased. Additional development on the Airports Western Perimeter is continuing to progress
faster than the previous Master Plan was designed for. TxDOT Aviation is providing a grant for an update to the Airport
Layout Plan as well as a narrative update focused heavily on operations forecasting and West side development.

Update:
The Airport Layout Plan has been approved by TxDOT Aviation and is currently awaiting approval from the FAA.
