Summary:

ACTIV is currently under construction, with an ACTIV Quarterly Update
anticipated opening in FY 2024. ACTIV is on the west 100,000
side of Arlington and caters to the active adult
population. If the construction timeline holds, the 80,000
facility will be open for the last two months of FY 2024.
The facility will allow considerable expansion to the 60,000
already high level of senior-centric events offered by
the Parks and Recreation Department. In addition, 40,000
ACTIV will offer private rentals and various year-round
programs such as fitness classes, league play, art 20,000
classes, educational classes, cooking classes, and more.
