Funding is planned for the design and development of improvements at Central Park as per the adopted Southlake 2035 Parks,
Recreation & Open Space Master Plan. The city will work with the adjacent property owner (Shops of Southlake), and other
stakeholders on the development of a final concept plan that incorporates the recommended improvements. FY 2022 project
Central Park scope includes: developing concept plan through construction documents for park improvements to include a new arched

central entrance, landscape and hardscape improvements, potential interactive water component and public art. Additional
improvements to be considered long term include an ice skating rink during the holiday season, allowing vendor kiosks, and the
feasibility of a pedestrian bridge across FM 1709 to connect Southlake Town Square to the Shops of Southlake.
