MISSION / PROGRAMS / SERVICES:

x Properly maintain and ensure the correct usage of the city’s investment in vehicles and
equipment
x Provide corrective maintenance and facilitate needed repairs
x To maintain compliance with mandated State and Federal programs
x Coordinate vehicle damage claims
x Provide excellent service and maintenance to all vehicles and equipment which includes over
200 pieces of equipment

FY2019-2020 HIGHLIGHTS / ACHIEVEMENTS:

x Awarded Bronze Clean Fleet from Dallas-Fort Worth Clean Cities
x Up fit (3) new Police Tahoe units into service
x Up fit (3) new Public Works vehicles into service

FY2020-2021 GOALS/ OBJECTIVES:

x Achieve Automotive Service Excellence Blue Seal Recognition Certification
x Stay current on new legislation with increasing technology demands and energy conservation
x Implement an Inter-local fleet maintenance agreement to increase revenue and assist
neighboring cities with challenging budget issues
