BUDGET OVERVIEW

• Initiated design and engineering for construction of mountain bike trails at Fossil Creek
Park. Developed a partnership with Fort Worth Mountain Bike Association for assistance
in constructing the trails and perpetual maintenance of the trails.

• Produced 100% cost recovery of operational costs of the NRH Centre and the Grand Hall
and improved cost recovery at the Richland Tennis Center.

• The Library conducted a record‐setting Mayor's Summer Reading Club. In 2019 Mayor's
Summer Reading Club set a record for number of hours read by our community and
offered a record number of events and classes for citizens to attend, including our first‐
ever summer reading events for adults.

• The Library hosted five Behind the Book author events, the Mid‐Cities Teen Book Fest,
and the inaugural NRH Authors and Arts event. These events brought 13 New York
Times bestselling authors to NRH and were attended by hundreds.
