BUDGET OVERVIEW

Objectives:

• Resolve the development of the TCC performing arts facility in the TIF
• Cultivate the next generation of community leaders
• Encourage community support of local businesses
Accomplishments:
• The Neighborhood Services Department relies heavily on volunteer hours to help with
some of the departmental programs, including Keep NRH Beautiful, NIP and Animal
Services. The Department had a combined total of 8,629 volunteer hours in Fiscal Year
2019 which equates to $219,435.
• Completed engineering & design for Iron Horse Golf Course Renovation Project including
improved drainage, improved tees and fairways, improved cart paths, new billy bunkers,
improved irrigation system, and redesigned Holes 13 & 14. Also designed improvements
to the Club House. The project is expected to be completed in September 2020.
• Completed the concept phase, design development phase and construction
documentation phase for the Renovation of Linda Spurlock Park. Initiated the
Construction phase with the contractor to construct the proposed improvements.
