Project Name Project Description
NRH Centre Indoor This project is to re-plaster the Aquatics Facility at the NRH Centre. The pool plaster serves as a waterproof layer between
Aquatic Pool Re-Plaster - the pool water and the shell of the pool, protecting it's structural integrity. The project will include removal and replacement
New Project of all the pool plaster down to the substrate/gunite surface. Specifications of the project will include needed substrate
repairs, tile repair and replacement of grates as needed. In order to provide the most minimal impact to the NRH Centre
public operations this project is expected to be completed within the month of December 2018 so that the facility can re-
open to the public on January 1, 2019. This project was initially budgeted in the FY 2017-18 NRH Centre Operating
Budget. Staff obtained estimates from local pool vendors, however the formal bids significantly exceeded the available
budget. All bids were rejected and only patch repairs have been completed to date.
Park Infrastructure This Project provides for maintenance of park infrastructure in response to use and age. The Parks and Recreation
Maintenance 2015 - Department developed an Infrastructure Management Plan for park amenities. The plan addresses the long term funding
Continuing Project needs for replacement and renovation of park sites and their amenities, demonstrating responsible stewardship of property
assets by the City. Funding is included to address sports field renovation, sidewalk and trail repair, bridge deck
replacement, replacement of park furniture and drinking fountains, park rules and regulation sign replacement and irrigation
renovation.

Maintenance 2017 - include replacement of playground safety surface material, trail concrete panel replacement, drainage projects and painting
Continuing Project of concessions, restrooms and pavilions in various parks.

Concrete Stain, Cross Timbers Dugout Roofs, Sports Field Infield Refurbishment, Green Valley Dumpster Fence,
Adventure World Fence Replacement, Ballfield Fence Replacement.
