Aquatic Park Capital Projects



           Project Name                                      Project Description
        General Facility    Costs for additional construction such as drainage improvements, miscellaneous building improvements or capital
        Improvements (2018) -   acquisitions are calculated and submitted on an annual basis.  These costs also include safety improvements to/for the
        Continuing Project  facility that are identified during the current operating season.  The project funds unforeseen equipment failures and
                            emergency items necessary to operate the park.  Projects in the past have included switchgear for the Green Extreme, ADA
                            updates, replacement motors, drainage improvements, concrete repair and patching and resurfacing of the Splashatory.









        General Facility    This project consists of costs for annual general facility improvements such as drainage improvements, miscellaneous
        Improvements (2019) -   building improvements, capital acquisitions and any safety improvements or emergency repairs for the facility that are
        New Project         identified during the operating season.  Projects in the past have included switchgear for the Green Extreme, ADA updates,
                            replacement motors, drainage improvements, concrete repair and patching and resurfacing of the Splashatory.











        Main Filtration     This project is for the replacement of the two main filters that are responsible for filtering the water in the Endless River,
        Replacement -       Wave Pool, Stream and both slide tower complexes located by the Endless River.  The current filters were installed when
        Continuing Project  the park opened in 1995.  There are two filters and each filter is a Whitten high rate sand filter model #2U-6C-108"H.  Each
                            filter is 12' 6" high, 9' wide, and each holds 35 tons of sand as its filter media. This replacement is necessary due age of the
                            filters.
