Through FY 2018, the City budgeted and 10,800,000
accounted for revenue from water sales in 10,600,000

This is intended to provide greater
transparency, as the City recovers all
operating costs via the base rate. The 12,000,000 Water Revenue
volumetric rate is set to simply pass Base Rate
through the charges the City incurs from 10,000,000
the Trinity River Authority (TRA) for treated 8,000,000 Volumetric Rate
water. As is evident from the
accompanying charts, the majority of 6,000,000
water revenue comes from the volumetric
rate and is expected to continue to increase 4,000,000
in accordance with projections provided by

WASTEWATER SALES
Through FY 2018, the City budgeted and Wastewater Revenue
accounted for revenue from wastewater 4,900,000
sales in a single account, which included 4,200,000
revenue from both wastewater base rates 3,500,000
and wastewater volumetric rates.

wastewater base rates and wastewater 2,100,000
volumetric rates is budgeted and tracked 1,400,000
separately. This is intended to provide
