             Update:
             This purchase was approved by the Arlington voters as part of the
             next Bond election in May 2025. Council is scheduled to approve
             the bond in August. As soon as the bond has been approved, the
             purchase of the radios selected by fire and police operations will
             be presented to the council for approval.
