PURPOSE STATEMENT:

To accumulate costs that are not allocated to individual departments and to account for solid waste fees collected
by the City on behalf of a third party contractor.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

Prudently manage City risks
Properly maintain and keep the City's information technology system up-to-date

KEY POINTS OF PROPOSED BUDGET:
Personnel: Increase for annual employee step increase and 5% adjustment to City pay plan. These costs
are shown here for presentation purposes only and will be allocated out to the various departments.
Services: Funds included for anticipated increases in the City's various insurance coverages.
Increase to more properly allocate the cost of Incode 10 software to the Utility Fund from the General Fund.
Garbage Services expense reduced as the result of commercial solid waste accounts now billed by the
vendor.
