The new code will incorporate a regulating plan, building
form standards, street standards (plan and section), use
regulations as needed, descriptive building or lot types,

functional and vital urbanism.
On February 27, 2024, MPC reviewed and evaluated areas
based upon feasibility criteria such as location, visioning,
funding for form-based codes. After the review, MPC
picked their top three areas of interest:
• East Abram (Collins to 360)
• Division Street (Cooper to Collins)
• Matlock/Cooper and Pioneer Parkway intersection
