Expenditures by Fund

While only consisting of one full-time employee, the Communications budget is broken up between three separate funds.
The General Fund houses some special events costs, advertising dollars, and subscription costs
The Economic Development Fund pays for the bulk of the City's special events
The Hotel Tax Fund pays for the full-time salary and bene ts of the Community Relations Manager as well as a small
portion of special events costs
Any increases in budget this year are a result of compensation adjustments and an increase to special event scope and
expenses.
