WHEREAS, the budget for the City of Hurst, Texas, for the fiscal period
beginning October 1, 2821, and ending September 30, 2022, in
words and figures has been adopted by Ordinance 2488 ( a);
and

WHEREAS, Section 102. 007( c) of. the Local Government Code requires a
separate vote of the governing body to ratify the property tax
revenue increase reflected in the budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF Hz
CITY OF HURST, TEXAS:

Section 1: THAT the City Council hereby votes to "ratify" the property tax
revenue increase reflected in the budget as adopted by
Ordinance 2488 ( a).

Passed on the first reading on the 14th day of September 2021 by a vote of 6
to 0.

Approved on the second reading on the 28th day of September 2021 by a
vote of 6 to 0.
