MISSION / PROGRAMS / SERVICES:
Mission: To provide for the operations and development of the City through the implementation and
support of cost effective technologies which enhance the efficiencies of City staff while facilitating
effective information flow between the City and its citizens.
Programs and Services:
x Networking, Hardware and Software, Telecommunications, Web Site, Cable Channel,
Audio/Video, Building Security and Technical Support and Public Information.

x Software Maintenance continues to Increase
x PCs City-Wide are now approaching 7 years in age. Supporting system may become difficult as
systems begin to fail
x Office Software is over 10 years old and poses security issue
x Security Concerns as Cyberattacks continue to increase
x Functional Operations may be impacted by reduced revenues, hard to cut much more from
budget and maintain services
