PLANNING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Mission Statement
Promote the health, safety, welfare, and the orderly growth and development of the City while en-
couraging neighborhood vitality and livability, and striving to bring growth that contributes to the
tax base, expands job opportunities, and increases economic development opportunities. Provide
quality services to all members of the community by providing permitting, inspections, transporta-
tion planning, and land use planning assistance. The mission of the Department is to promote a
positive City image through preservation/enhancement of property values within the City.
