Intervention Team response to certain calls. This team
consists of 2 specially trained patrol officers. This will
be in addition to the Co‐Responder Team consisting of
a clinician and a specialty officer. This will be included
in next year’s metric report. Preliminary reactions
have been positive, and a clearer format has
developed within the districts led by the designated
MH Lieutenants.

APD Mental Health is beginning the process of
requesting a No‐Cost Extension (NCE) from the BJA for
the Police Mental Health Collaboration Grant. The
extension was caused by COVID‐19 related
restrictions.
