This request is for the purchase of an 18-passenger shuttle bus for the NRH Senior Center. The bus would also be used for
summer camp and for other City departments as needed. The Senior Center Day Excursion Program has expanded and is a
popular program. The bus will be used for trips only and not for public transportation to and from the senior center. The
existing passenger vans are very difficult for seniors to get enter and exit.

Existing 14-passenger vans are very challenging for Senior Center participants to enter and exit when traveling. This has been
an on-going need for several years.

Note: FY 18-19 Funding from Equipment Service Fund Reserves (510).
