MUNICIPAL COURT TECHNOLOGY FUND
The Court Technology Fund was established by the Texas Legislature through an
amendment to the Texas Code of Criminal Procedures to allow the assessment of a
$4.00 fee to be added to every conviction through Municipal Court to help purchase
technology upgrades for Municipal Court. The $4.00 fee is deposited into its own fund
and, by law, may assist in financing the purchase of technological enhancements for
municipal court.
