PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The mission of the Code Enforcement Department is to contribute to a high quality of life by providing and
maintaining a sound, user-friendly system to assist persons involved in development and to protect the health,
safety, and welfare of citizens.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

Respond to complaints within 1 working day
Reinspect all violations on the due date of compliance
Strive for 90% compliance with door hangers or verbal communication with property owners
Establish a methodology to stop the habitual offenders

KEY POINTS OF PROPOSED BUDGET:
Personnel Services: Increase due to step increase, 3% cost of living adjustment, and increased benefit costs.
