GENERAL FUND
The General Fund, a Governmental Fund, accounts for tax-
supported activities that serve all citizens. It includes revenues
and expenditures not assigned to other funds, receiving a
broader range of taxes and supporting a wider scope of government functions. It
follows the modified accrual basis of accounting, recognizing revenues when
measurable and available, and expenditures when liabilities are incurred.
Where does the money come from?
GENERAL FUND REVENUES
Revenues are forecasted 4.3%, or $795,720, more than prior year. This is primarily a
result of increases in property tax, permits/licenses, charges for services, and fines &
forfeitures.
