OVERVIEW: DISASTER RECOVERY FUND
The Disaster Recovery Fund (35) tracks transactions related to the American Rescue Plan Act of
2021 (ARPA). All remaining funds are allocated for use in two water storage projects: an
upgrade to the ground-level storage tank near Kennedale High School to 750,000 gallons
(anticipated completion before 10/1/2025), and a renovation of the elevated storage tank near
the intersection of Dick Price Road and Linda Road (anticipated completion before 10/1/2026).
