City Secretary
The City Secretary is responsible for the legislative operations of the City and ser ves as the of{cial records management
of{cer. In this role, the of{ce is accountable for the integrity, protection, compliance, availability, retention, disposition, and
transparency of all City records in accordance with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission Records Retention
Schedules.
The City Secretary ser ves as Elections Administrator to provide fair and legal City of Colleyville elections ef{ciently. As such,
the City Secretary ensures the annual municipal elections are held in compliance with local, state, and federal election
laws and regulations. This of{ce does this by fostering an excellent par tnership with the Tarrant County Election
Administration for election ser vices and equipment , which provides a cost savings to the City. In addition to municipal
elections, the City Secretary facilitates and coordinates early voting for county, state, and federal elections.
As a vital resource for the City Council, City depar tments, residents, and the public , the City Secretary's Of{ce (CSO ) acts as
a direct link between the community and the government . The CSO is committed to providing exemplary customer
ser vice in a professional, cour teous, impar tial, and transparent manner. The of{ce upholds the highest standards of
integrity, communication, and excellence, while also actively suppor ting the City Council's Strategic Plan and promoting
transparency in all its operations.
