                                               FY 2024-2025 Highlights
                 The department underwent the selection of a new Chief of Police and Deputy Police Chief.
                 Leadership development training was held for all departmental personnel.
                 The department was awarded grant funding for wellness initiatives for both sworn and non-sworn personnel. The grant
                 provides funding for the training of peer support personnel and offsets expenses associated with counseling of
                 personnel.
                 The open house event was once again held and heavily attended by the public.
                 Sworn and non-sworn personnel attended the Special Olympic winter games in San Antonio.
                 The Community Services-Crime Prevention division facilitated a multi-housing manager meeting discussing technology
                 and its use in the reduction of criminal activity.
                 The Dispatch Center hosted students participating in the HEB ISD Law Enforcement program.
                 The Community Services division hosted the annual Citizens Police Academy.
                 Departmental personnel participated in the annual Special Olympics Polar Plunge fundraiser and the torch run at the
                 commencement of the summer games.
                 The department interacted with the public through multiple 'Coffee with a Cop' events.
                 Successful completion of the police academy and the departmental  eld service training by several new recruits.
                 The department promoted three of cers to the rank of Corporal.
