OPERATIONS
Achieved and maintained full police staffing for over 5 months of the budget year
Completed a thorough review and update of 85% of the department’s policy manual
Awarded ten Watchguard brand cameras from the Duncanville Police Department
Awarded 25 Motorola APX 6000 handheld radios from the Mansfield Police Department
Continued use of the Community Oriented and Geographic policing model to address the
causes of crime and long-term quality of life issues in cooperation with Community
Development and other area partners
Renewed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Alliance for Children to provide
victim services and assist in the investigation of offenses against children
Continued our partnership with the DEA Task Force- Ft. Worth (DEATF - FTW) to address
drug/narcotics trafficking affecting the Kennedale area and investigating drug related
overdose cases
