Expenditures by Function

For Fiscal Year 2025, the General Fund's expenditures re ect several key changes compared to the previous year's budget,
driven by the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining high service levels while managing costs effectively.

One of the most signi cant adjustments is the transition of a part-time IT support position to full-time status. This change
was made to enhance the City's IT capabilities, ensuring that technology support keeps pace with the increasing demands
of municipal operations. The cost of this staf ng change was offset by reducing contract labor expenses elsewhere in the
budget, resulting in no net increase in total personnel costs.

Other departments, including Parks, Police, and Recreation, have maintained consistent budget levels compared to the
previous year, re ecting the City's focus on operational ef ciency and prudent scal management. The allocation for these
departments continues to support essential services and community programs without signi cant changes in staf ng or
             service delivery.

Additionally, the budget accounts for in ationary pressures on operating costs, including utilities, supplies, and contracted
services, ensuring that all departments have the necessary resources to continue providing high-quality services to
             residents and businesses.

Overall, the FY 2025 General Fund expenditures are carefully calibrated to support the City’s strategic priorities while
maintaining scal discipline and responsiveness to the community’s needs.
