The Community Development Department is dedicated to preserving the unique beauty and quality of life in Colleyville
while guiding quality, sustainable growth and redevelopment. The Department is committed to providing exceptional
customer service to both citizens and the development community.

Community Development encompasses the Planning and Building Inspections Divisions. The Department is responsible for
reviewing new development proposals, planning for future growth and redevelopment, ensuring long-term community
sustainability, and enforcing compliance with building codes. By working closely with other City departments, Community
Development ensures that the development process is ef cient, effective, and aligned with the City’s vision for a thriving,
well-balanced community.
