Expenditures by Function
The Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Fund is designed to encourage development and economic growth within the Tax
Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ). Expenditures from the fund are allocated to projects that support infrastructure
improvements, economic development, and overall enhancement of the zone.
For FY 2025, a signi cant new line item has been added to fund school resource of cers (SROs) in the Grapevine-
Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD). This $900,000 annual commitment will continue through 2030,
marking a major addition to the fund's expenditure.
Additionally, one of the key projects funded by the TIF for FY 2025 is Hero’s Park, an important capital improvement
within the zone. This project aligns with the TIF’s goal of enhancing public spaces and infrastructure to encourage
further development in the area.
Overall, the TIF Fund remains focused on promoting growth and development within the zone through targeted
infrastructure and improvement projects, with the SRO funding marking a signi cant long-term expenditure.
