Revenues by Source
The Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Fund is primarily funded through the redirection of property tax revenues
generated from increases in property values within the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ). This incremental
increase in property tax revenue allows the City to nance improvements within the zone.
In addition to property tax redirection, the TIF Fund receives minimal revenue from investment income (interest) and
other miscellaneous sources. These smaller revenue streams have limited impact on the overall fund.
Revenue projections for FY 2025 are based on revised estimates from the current year and historical trends, re ecting
the stable nature of property tax growth within the TIRZ.
