Purchased breaching equipment utilizing grant funding and implemented training for all sworn personnel in its
handling and use.
Maintained a clearance rate above the national average for property and persons crimes.
Drafted and implemented ordinances to improve traf c ow at area elementary schools during peak traf c times before
and after school.
Continue certifying of cers in Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) for active shooter
response.
Selected a K-9 handler and canine.
Purchased drones with the capability of indoor ying which provides a layer of safety for of cers prior to entering
buildings with unknown conditions.
Criminal Investigations worked on six (6) cases, resulting in the closing of several illicit businesses in the city.
Partnered with Tarrant County in a three-day sting operation, resulting in the arrest of over 30 individuals for activity
connected with prostitution.
Purchased a receptacle for the lobby area for the safe disposal of medications by the public.
Implemented a Quartermaster program for the inventory, tracking and issuing of equipment, wearing apparel and
accessories.
