FY 2023-2024 Highlights
Implemented Short Term Disability policy for all full-time employees to protect their income in case they have an illness
or injury and are unable to work.
Planned and held employee appreciation events throughout the year. (Employee Appreciation Lunch, Ice Cream Truck,
In-N-Out Lunch on the Lawn, Halloween Costume Contest, Christmas Lunch, Valentine Treats, Service Recognition
Receptions).
Completed a City-wide compensation study to make sure jobs are in the correct pay grades and pay rates are comparable
to comparison cities.
Revised policies within the Employee Policy Manual to better t city practices and changes to city practices.
Completed implementation and went live on new Human Resource/Payroll software, UKG, providing one system and one
login for employees to access all human resource functions.
Provided wellness initiatives for employees, including lunch in learns, a bene ts fair, chair massages, dental cleanings and
skin cancer screenings.
Offered eight new updated and enhanced voluntary bene ts to employees during open enrollment.
