                                            Capital Project Descriptions

               1.   Dunaway Lane Reconstruction

                    This project consists of  the  reconstruction  of Dunaway Lane which  includes  the widening of the
                    street to 36 feet, adding curb and gutter, installing storm drainage facilities, and sidewalks on the
                    south side of the road.  The intent of the project is to improve the flow of traffic as well as pedestrian
                    access and drainage.   Tarrant County has selected this  project for inclusion in  its  latest
                    transportation bond program and will contribute to the cost of construction.

                    Cost:                     $8,500,000

                    Funding Source:           2024 Certificates of Obligation
                                              Tarrant County Participation

                    Operating Budget Impact:   No direct financial impact on the operating budget is expected from this
                                              project.  No additional staff will be required as a third-party contractor
                                              will be hired to perform the construction.  Current staff members will be
                                              involved in the  project and they must  dedicate time to oversee the
                                              project which does take staff time away from routine duties creating an
                                              indirect impact on the operating budget.

               2.   Central Park Trail Improvement and Extension

                    This project consists of the replacement of the asphalt walking path at Central Park with a 4-inch-
                    thick concrete path  and to extend the trail  from the  park to City Hall.  Replacing the asphalt  with
                    concrete will provide a more durable walking surface that will require less maintenance and is better
                    suited to withstand heat in the summer.

                    Cost:                     $225,000

                    Funding Source:           Gas Well Royalties
                                              Quality of Life Project Transfers from the Municipal Development
                                              District Fund

                    Operating Budget Impact:   No direct financial impact on the operating budget is expected from this
                                              project.  No additional staff will be required as a third-party contractor
                                              will be hired to perform the construction.  Current staff members will be
                                              involved in the  project and they must  dedicate time to oversee the
