COURT TECHNOLOGY FUND
REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES
The Court Technology Fund was established by the Texas Legislature through an amendment to the Texas
Code of Criminal Procedures to allow the assessment of a $4.00 fee to be added to every conviction
through Municipal Court to help purchase technology upgrades for Municipal Court. The $4.00 fee is
deposited into its own fund and, by law, may assist in financing the purchase of technological
enhancements for municipal court.
