ORDINANCE NO. 2022- 18

AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATAUGA, TEXAS APPROVING AND ADOPTING A BUDGET
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2022, AND
ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2023; PROVIDING FOR THE
APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS IN THE BUDGET; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS, the City Council finds the budget officer of the City of Watauga
filed a proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022, and ending
September 30, 2023, with the City Secretary in accordance with state law; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds the proposed budget was made available for
public inspection; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds the City Manager presented the proposed
budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022, and ending September 30, 2023, to
the City Council in accordance with the City Charter; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds a public hearing notice was published and
said public hearing was held, the subject of which was the proposed budget submitted by
the City Manager; and

WHEREAS, after full and final consideration, it is the consensus of the City
Council that the budget, as hereinafter set forth, should be approved and adopted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATAUGA, TEXAS, THAT:

The facts and recitations set forth in the preamble of this ordinance are hereby
found to be true and correct and adopted herein for all purposes.
