Objectives for FY2023

◊ Continue to facilitate CLUP amendments as necessary until a funding source is identified for
a new comprehensive plan.
◊ Ensure that the minimum standards of each adopted code and ordinance are met for new
and renovated structures, while conducting complete initial plan reviews of all submittals in
a timely manner.
◊ Provide exceptional customer service responding to inspection requests within 24 hours.
◊ Maximize the economic benefits of projects throughout the City by capitalizing on the City’s
strategic location in the DFW metropolitan area.
◊ Work with non-profit charitable organizations (example, Mended Network and SOS who
provide property enhancement and rehabilitate projects for citizens, especially senior
citizens and veterans.
