CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS  PROGRAM (CIP)





               •  Parks - Projects that provide infrastructure for parks and recreation opportunities, including active recreation,
                   passive enjoyment, and enhanced open spaces. The projects identified in this section of the CIP implement
                   recommendations of the Southlake 2035 Parks Master Plan.
               •  Community Enhancement - Projects that improve the overall community design, aesthetic, and accessibility
                   of public areas, including public art, ADA improvements, and city entry features. These projects are identified
                   through several master plans, including the Southlake 2035 Public Arts Master Plan and the Urban Design Plan.
               •  Facilities - Projects for the planning, design, and construction of City facilities. The facilities identified in the CIP
                   are implementing recommendations from several master plans, including the Southlake 2035 Tourism Master
                   Plan and the Health and Wellness Master Plan.


            Project status forms have also been included for all projects in the CIP.  These sheets provide more detail about each
            project by listing not only approved funding but how those funds will be spent.

            fy 2022 CaPiTal BudgeT OngOing PrOjeCT funds

            In the FY 2022 Capital Budget, there are four projects that are ongoing project funds. These projects set aside funding
            for improvements that are identified on an annual basis. These capital improvements are funded to ensure the delivery
            of high quality services and continued maintenance of critical infrastructure. While ongoing maintenance is included in
            the City’s annual operating budget, these projects differ due to the useful life of the project. The table below shows the
            projects identified for the ongoing project funds in the FY 2022 Capital Budget. More information about these projects
            can be found on the project status forms found later in this section.
